FSx NetApp ONTAP-based Storage now supported in Tessell

Description:We are excited to announce that Tessell now supports FSx NetApp ONTAP®, the industry's leading storage management software. This enables  our valued customers to provision databases using FSx NetApp storage alongside the existing EBS-based disks on AWS.FSx NetApp ONTAP offers high storage capacity, superior throughput, and exceptional IOPS—making database scaling seamless and improving performance across the board.

Major Features of Phase 1:

  • Registration: Users can register pre-created FSx NetApp instances and Storage Virtual Machines (SVMs) on AWS.
  • Management: Update passwords, sync metadata, and deregister FSx NetApp as needed.
  • Monitoring: Track storage utilization, IOPS, and throughput for FSx NetApp instances and individual volumes.
  • Service Provisioning: Utilize pre-registered FSx NetApp instances for provisioning services (SI and HA).
  • Service Management: Add instances to created services, resize storage and compute resources.
  • Cloning & Snapshots: Create clones and snapshots on the same FSx NetApp instance.
